CORPORATE DONATIONS

Throughout the Season of Giving, Cobalt Equipment is proud to select an employee’s favorite charity and contribute a $1,000 Corporate Donation in support of their mission. It’s our way of saying how much we appreciate your support of those less fortunate and demonstrating our company’s culture of working to help others.

For the month of November 2021 and submitted by employee David Rolens, we are happy to provide a $1,000 Corporate Donation in support of David’s favorite charity, Reins in Motion Foundation.  Reins in Motion Foundation is a volunteer-based therapeutic riding program in Livermore, CA whose mission is “…to enrich the lives of individuals with special needs and life-threatening illness by connecting them with horses, animals and outdoor education activities that promote healing and growth in all aspects of their daily lives.”  David and his girlfriend assist as volunteers at the Reins in Motion ranch and enjoy supporting their many programs offered including Therapeutic Riding Lessons, Veteran Group Therapy, Summer Camps and Horsemanship Courses.

For the month of December 2021 and submitted by Leketha Honeycutt, we are happy to provide a $1,000 Corporate Donation in support of Leketha’s favorite charity, Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church is located in Oakland, CA and their mission statement recognizes their congregation is a place “…where everybody is somebody.” Leketha and her family have been involved since 2015 and she feels strongly that “…working with her mission, gathering with members and giving back to the community is priceless.”

“Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, we have been challenged to raise funds due to the church being closed and services limited to Zoom until just recently.”

Cobalt’s corporate donation will help Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church purchase socks, blankets, toothpaste, and other essential items for the homeless.  In addition, gift cards will be purchased in modest amounts and distributed to those in need throughout their community.
